I'm not sure what to do with my Sprint Palm Pre, now that I'm on Verizon. Maybe I can doctor it up withoujt activation and use it around the house!

precentral has a tutorial about using the webos doctor and bypassing activation for webos 1.4.5. Then use it as a wifi tool.

i believe i would still need a sim card as well i thinks !

For the GSM model yes, but for CDMA it should work without I think. I have yet to try it myself on a pre that I have.
