Hi Guys

I am a newbie and trying to learn as much as I can with this new LG Smart TV. Thank to the Admin. for accepting my registration.

I am from India and presently working in Kuwait.  I have purchased the TV in kuwait and plan to take it with me to India by end of this year after finishing my Contract.

After playing around with the WebOS, I gather that I cannot change the LOCATION as it is preset for Middle-East locations.  I sent an e-mail to LG who replied as follows

Area Location for WebOS 07/24/2016 15:16:58 Hello
I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have purchased this TV in Kuwait.
I am an Indian working in Kuwait and plan to move back to my country of origin and would like to take my smart TV to India with me.
My problem is that I am not able to change the location from Middle-East to Asian Region (India).
I need your assistance/help to change the location to Asia (India) to enable me use the full potential of my smart TV (WebOS) on returning to my home country.

Kind Regards

Dear Mr. Mario ,

Thank you for writing to LG Electronics Middle-East.

Regarding your inquiry sir , Kindly note that unfortunately you will not be able to change the region of the TV and the smart features can't work in India as it's a different region.

We are committed to provide you with the level of service you expect from LG. We value you as a customer and appreciate any additional feedback you may have in the future.

Best Regards,
Customer Service Department

Please can some of our experts here help/guide me how to handle this situation.
