I am a newbie and trying to learn as much as I can with this new LG Smart TV. Thank to the Admin. for accepting my registration.
I am from India and presently working in Kuwait. I have purchased the TV in kuwait and plan to take it with me to India by end of this year after finishing my Contract.
After playing around with the WebOS, I gather that I cannot change the LOCATION as it is preset for Middle-East locations. I sent an e-mail to LG who replied as follows

I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have purchased this TV in Kuwait.
I am an Indian working in Kuwait and plan to move back to my country of origin and would like to take my smart TV to India with me.
My problem is that I am not able to change the location from Middle-East to Asian Region (India).
I need your assistance/help to change the location to Asia (India) to enable me use the full potential of my smart TV (WebOS) on returning to my home country.

Regarding your inquiry sir , Kindly note that unfortunately you will not be able to change the region of the TV and the smart features can't work in India as it's a different region.
