After viewing photos/videos on a flashdrive plugged into the USB of an LG TV and using SmartShare to view... and then removing the USB and then no longer having access to the TV... I noticed on the flashdrive a new folder called "LG TV" and within what appears to be files that may have been the thumbnails displayed on the TV. My question is... do those thumbnails also remain on the TV as recent history even without the USB plugged in? The LG Smart TV online user guide refers to "Recent" ("To view a list of recently viewed or added content, select Recent). Would thumbnails be there without the source flashdrive?

Hi,
I have my LG 4K Smart TV -Model : 43UJ632T.
I could not able to use the Wireless Keyboard ( Logitech K230) with Builtin Apps like Youtube, Amazon Prime or in Netflix to search. I could able to use only thru Magic Remote.
But the same Keyboard is working fine in Google Movies & SunNXT apps.
Could you please help me in fixing the same.
Thanks,
Sriram.

Dear LG TV developers,
I am glad to see that LG Smart TV has a built-in web browser and LG API supports "openBrowserAt" so that my smart home controller can open a web page on the TV. However, nowadays, we also have ms-teams online meeting that is accessible through web browser which the LG TV supports. However, this requires the browser to have a microphone to record audio and to have a webcam for video recording. Also, certain smart-home systems also need built-in microphone to record voice commands so that no additional standalone unit is required next to the TV.
Unfortunately, LG Smart TV (I have OLED48A1PTA) does not have microphone neither does it support USB mic/webcam. So I am writing this post to suggest that future middle/higher-end LG Smart TV can be equipped with these. Moreover, it might be possible for TV firmware update to add the support of USB webcam/microphone so that they can be used in web browsers for web-based online meeting.
Thank you very much for your consideration!
Best regards,
Xuancong

Hi,
My problem is that my Netflix app on my LG tv (OLED65B13LA) keeps selecting the leftmost button, it's impossible to scroll the cursor to the right to select another button. I tried resetting the tv to factory defaults - after installing Netflix again the issue is exactly the same.
I also tried disconnecting the tv from power for a few minutes. Plus I contacted Netflix, but they said I need to contact TV manufacturer before they log a possible bug in the app :/.
My Amazon Prime app works perfectly fine on the same tv.
Any thoughts?

I have an LG 55NANO86VNA TV. It has always displayed Netflix and other content in DV with no issues.
Since the recent TV firmware update to 4.50.51, although Netflix shows DV content available, the TV no longer displays the DV logo top-right when any DV content is started.
Nano TV also does not play test DV content on a USB memory stick in DV. This used to play as DV, and still plays fine with DV logo top-right on my older LG TV.
Dolby Vision is 22.11.
Anyone else seen this issue. Any suggestions please.

Question
easy
Hello,
I got my LG 49UF84 smart TV on the weekend. The first thing I did was setting up Netflix, because I use the TV for streaming movies and tv shows only, I don't watch TV stations.
First, I watched Narcos, which is a Netflix show in 4k. It was great. But this was the last time, I ever got 4K. When I press the "Info" button on my remote ("magic remote"), I see the quality on the top left of the screen. Most of the time it shows 480p. Sometimes even 288p (!). I only hat 720p and 1080p once, during 6 hours of watching Netflix.
First I thought it's a connection problem, so I opened the web browser and started a speedtest - it's over 40MBit/s. Netflix 4K needs 15-25MBit as far as I know. I even plugged it to the modem, instead of using WiFi. No changes so far. Is there an option on the Netflix app, that it should use the best possible quality when possible? I mean, it's not bad quality, it's really a great TV. But when I buy a 4K TV, I expect that the 4K functionality works on the biggest movie streaming service.
Does anyone have/had similar experiences and even got a solution?
Thanks so far!
