Hello all,

http://developer.lge.../notifications/

After reading this and researched several times through the API, DOCs etc i want to be sure that you cannot create an application and generate notification messages to the user?

I want to display something to the user with like "toast" message.

Thanks in advance.

you can display a message with this code:

{"type":"request","id":1,"uri":"ssap://system.notifications/createToast","payload":{"message":"This is a message testing 123"}}

As answered in the official WebOS TV forum, the only applications that are allowed to display Toast messages, are system applications from within the TV.
