Edit Music Playlist

This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0 or higher

While the stock music player for webOS phones or the TouchPad has never been as fully featured as third-party alternatives, such as

, the Enyo-coded stock Music Player update on the TouchPad did provide some nice upgrades as compared to the previous phone version. One of those features was the ability to right on the fly directly on the TouchPad. Unfortunately, due to a limitation in Enyo that did not allow you to , you are not able to easily rearrange your playlist once it was created, but you do have the ability to edit some features of that playlist

To edit the playlist

  1. Open up the Music Player app on your TouchPad
  2. Tap on the playlist name on the left side of the screen you want to edit
  3. You should see a Music Player Edit icon on the top-right of the screen.  Tap it.
  4. You can then perform of the the following three actions:
  • Delete songs: Tap on the "X" icons on the right on the screen for all songs you want to delete. Then tap on the "Done" button and confirm the deletions in the pop-up menu that follows.
  • Rename Playlist: Tap on the playlist name on the top of the screen (in the blue area) and then type in your new name. Tap "Done". You will actually get the same "Delete the selected songs?" prompt as above, even if you didn't choose to delete any songs. You have to select "Delete" to confirm the rename, again even if you didn't delete any songs
  • Delete Playlist: Tap the "Delete Playlist" button on the bottom-right of the screen and then confirm the deletion in the pop-up that follows.

In the specifications of this LaserTV it is shown that WebOS 6.0 should be installed on this device.
The latest Device Firmware Version is 3.01.02 and i am missing the RTL+ App (Germany) which should be available with WebOS 6.0
So any info when there will be a "real" WebOS 6.0 available on the Cinebeam HU915EQE?

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

Hey everyone, I've been using my LG WebOS TV for some time now, and there's a small but impactful change I'd love to see. Currently, when the TV is turned on without an HDMI input, it defaults to displaying a wallpaper. It's not aesthetically pleasing, it's a bit of an inconvenience for users like me who primarily use the TV's smart features. My suggestion is to include an option that allows the TV to boot directly into the Home screen, displaying all the available apps and streaming options right away. This would streamline the user experience, making it faster and easier to access the services we use most.Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this. Cheers!
