LG’s international voyage of innovation and creativity, the LG OLED Art project, is coming to Frieze Los Angeles 2023 which is available at the Santa Monica Airport from February 16-19. The company’s exhibition, titled LG Art Lab with Barry x Ball @ LG OLED Lounge, offers visitors unique experiences spanning the real and virtual worlds. At the center of it all is the work of Brooklyn-based sculptor Barry x Ball, which will be showcasing on LG’s superb, self-lit OLED screens.

LG boasts 10 years of experience in producing premium OLED TVs. The company introduced the world’s first big-screen OLED TV in 2013, bringing consumers a whole new level of picture quality and ushering in a new era in the TV industry. Since then, LG OLED, the leader of the global premium TV market, has continued to provide the most realistic images and the most immersive viewing experiences.
In addition to becoming the preferred TV of millions of consumers worldwide, LG OLED has become the favored digital canvas for some of today’s most innovative artists, especially those comfortable with working in the digital medium. Not only does LG deliver the power of digital art at LG Art project events, it also enables LG Smart TV users to admire and own their favorite digital artworks via the LG Art Lab app.

LG Art Lab is a Hedera-based, fully interactive digital marketplace that allows users to trade NFT art from major artworld names and up-and-coming practitioners. Constantly striving to improve the user experience and make digital art more accessible, LG Art Lab has adopted Blade Wallet, an enterprise-grade Web3 wallet known for its security, speed and scalability. Blade Wallet enables art lovers to simply and securely purchase NFT artworks on LG TV’s innovative digital art platform and is available as an app for Android and Apple mobile devices as well as a Google Chrome web extension.

At Frieze LA, LG’s new ultra-large, ultra-high-definition OLED evo models, including the 97-inch G3 and 83-inch C3, along with Lifestyle Screen products, such as the LG OLED Objet Collection Easel and Pose, will bring Barry x Ball’s NFT artworks to life. The exhibit features a new series of 39-second-long kinetic NFTs and a 24-karat gold-plated sculpture. A multidisciplinary master, Ball continues to utilize traditional and 21st century techniques to reassess and breathe new life into classical and modern sculptures.

Ball’s NFT sculptures are inspired by the artist’s in-process sculptures of Pope John Paul II, and are based on four different metals: black steel, gold, copper and silver. The self-lit pixels of LG’s OLED TVs allow one to fully appreciate the intent of the artist, revealing the most minute details through vibrant, accurate colors, deep blacks and incredible contrast. On the exhibition’s opening day, Barry x Ball’s sculptural NFT art has been dropped on LG Art Lab.

After the conclusion of the LG OLED Art project exhibition at Frieze Los Angeles, LG will continue its partnership with Frieze throughout the year, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to art and showcasing the outstanding picture quality of LG OLED.

CASACOR, which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022, is the largest integrated exhibition of architecture, interior design and landscaping in Latin America. Held in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, between July and September last year, the wide-ranging event featured more than 60 architect- and designer-led projects and attracted more than 115,000 in-person visitors.

The official technology partner of CASACOR for four consecutive years, LG Brazil hosted a stylish lifestyle exhibit at the show, pairing modernist interior design with cutting-edge home innovations from the 2022 LG product lineup.

      Called

Among these were the LG G2 Gallery Series OLED TV, OLED Objet Collection Posé, side-by-side refrigerator, Styler, WashTower, PuriCare 360° Air Purifier and ARTCOOL Gallery air conditioner. The company’s state-of-the-art appliances blended in perfectly with the curated selection of vintage furniture pieces and interior objects to create a space of effortless comfort, convenience and aesthetic beauty.
The layout of LG Magenta House was centered around a central island that divided the space into a living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and clothing area. The façade of the project featured walls made entirely of transparent glass bricks, a distinctly modernist touch that lets in natural light and warmth while still maintaining the privacy of those inside.

Drawing inspiration from the Conjunto Nacional – which was completed in the 1950s and has the distinction of being one of São Paulo’s first modern multi-use buildings – the LG Magenta House was awarded the VEJA SP Award for Best CASACOR Environment in the category of “Best Suite.” LG Magenta House was also recognized with the “Best of 2022” award from Archello, a global platform that connects professionals such as architects, sculptors, painters and engineers.

In government offices, a projector’s ability to display information clearly in large team settings makes it an effective tool for boosting collaboration while promoting safe social distancing.
In hybrid work environments, this technology can make the difference between effective and ineffective collaboration by providing an easy-to-see snapshot of data, no matter where
      the viewer sits.
The LG ProBeam is a powerful, user-friendly projector, generating some of the most accurate images I’ve seen in years.
The LG ProBeam Delivers Crisp Images
Measuring 14.6x12.8x6.1 inches and weighing about 21 pounds, this 4K laser projector is surprisingly compact, powered by a 5000-lumen lamp that makes it ideal for agency environments, especially compared with other projectors capable of producing images as large as 120 inches.
A consumer-grade device, the LG ProBeam delivers professional-level projection capable of rendering 3840x2160 4K ultrahigh-definition images. It can project 8.3 million pixels at a native aspect ratio of 16:9, which makes the ProBeam an incredibly sharp projector with color accuracy on par with agency needs.
I mounted the ProBeam in large, medium and small rooms while measuring the lumens emitted at various distances and image sizes. At each stage, the projector’s light was powerful enough that images were visible up to 30 feet away.
Images were rendered accurately, with fine details that would be useful for educational initiatives and with the realism needed for detailed maps and military logistical information.
View Content Easily with the LG ProBeam
It was easy to set up and share from the LG ProBeam, thanks to wireless screen mirroring designed for streaming output from mobile devices, which eliminates the need for an extra physical connection. WebOS 4.5, the standard in LG smart TV platforms since 2013, also provides native web browsing capabilities.
As presenters who frequently use projectors know, onboard speakers are often so flawed that they are arguably unusable. The LG has two integrated 5-watt speakers and Bluetooth capability that boosts wireless audio signals to a separate stereo system for improved sound quality.
Agencies can enhance their collaboration capabilities with the LG ProBeam, a versatile and compact 5000-lumen laser projector that provides a high-resolution 4K display viewable in nearly any lighting.
Performance Meets Convenience in the LG ProBeam
Aside from its great image quality, perhaps the best characteristic of the LG ProBeam is the array of added features that make it by far the brightest object in a conference room.
Starting with a 12-point keystone picture adjustment, the ProBeam empowers audiovisual engineers to tailor every display to the demands of the room and the agency. Further, keystone operations are easy and intuitive to perform on both the physical unit and the remote control.
The detailed keystone adjustment, coupled with the extreme brightness capability of the device, lets agency users project a minimum screen size of 40 inches and a maximum of 300 inches (about 25 feet).
With a 1.6X zoom feature, engineers can easily show presenters how to immediately project a 60 percent larger image without moving or readjusting the projector. That means users can take a 100-inch projection and switch it to a 160-inch display in seconds, if needed.
Adding to the ease of operation is the simple-to-use wireless connectivity for screen mirroring, which makes for quick work by engineers during a live event. Wireless connection is possible with any Android device; USB or HDMI ports are available for wired connections.
Laser projection technology also helps users manage long-term costs by minimizing bulb outages that interrupt operations and require expensive replacements.
The LG ProBeam can provide 20,000 hours of lamp life, with far less dimming evident over the life of the projector compared with bulb-based models. It also makes projections bright enough for well-lit rooms or meeting areas without closing the curtains or turning off lights.
Integrated Bluetooth audio capability solves a long-standing issue that audiovisual engineers often grapple with: a receiver that drives good sound quality. Because the ProBeam not only provides good native sound but can also send a signal to an in-room speaker system, it’s ideal for use in dedicated conference rooms and small huddle spaces.
Having a projector that is functional in almost any lighting condition and that does not require any special training — even to access advanced features — is one of the main reasons why the LG ProBeam is great for government. Government employees can concentrate on their presentations and not worry about the gear they are using to share their information.

LG’s Cinematic Ode to the Possibilities of Life
Showcases the Vision of Tomorrow’s Creative Artists

SEOUL, Aug. 27, 2021 — The Life’s Good Film, helmed by the up-and-coming director
link hidden, please login to view with support from LG Electronics (LG), debuts today on LG’s YouTube channel. Woven together from videos submitted by hundreds of young filmmakers from around the world, the Tisi-produced work delivers a beautiful and touching meditation on life as interpreted by young creatives. A key component of LG’s Life’s Good campaign which kicked off in May, the Life’s Good Film Project invited 531 young auteurs from 33 countries to share their creative submissions with Jackson. Using the best footage, Tisi produced a 20-minute story showcasing the world’s budding visual storytellers’ distinctive voices, fresh perspectives and undeniable talent. The project generated considerable interest online, garnering over 140 million impressions and more than 44 million total views of related posts on social media platforms during the production process.
“I wanted to share the emotions we all have and feel in life no matter what corner of the world we come from,” explained Tisi. “Empathy is the key to communication with one another, especially when we’re getting through tough days.” At previews earlier this month, Tisi’s short was praised for its uplifting message and Tisi’s unique vision.
“An exploration through many eyes around the world, Life’s Good, is a truly singular experiment,” said Diva Vélez of New York Film Critics Online. “The film demonstrates the beautiful differences of the human diaspora and our various environments, while also revealing how completely tied in soul and spirit we are and have further become due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.”
The 20-minute short explores different aspects of a good life in six chapters: Life’s Beautiful, Life’s Community, Life’s Lonely, Life’s In Motion, Life’s an Adventure and Life’s Good. The first five chapters visualize a wide range of subject matter, from the beauty of nature, the vitality of physical movement, personal growth nurtured in times of solitude to the togetherness and warmth of a close-knit community. The final chapter depicts today’s young generation united in celebration of life, eloquently bringing the film to a close.
LG will screen the trailer of Life’s Good Film on LG’s digital billboards in Times Square in New York City and Piccadilly Circus in London beginning from today. The short will make an appearance at select film festivals as well in the weeks ahead. The Life’s Good Film is now available for viewing on the channel.
